Accessing your online account

Your guide to accessing and managing your pension online. Whether you’re signing in for the first time or need help logging in, we’ve got you covered. 

Set up your online account 

If you’re new to People’s Pension or using your account for the first time, it couldn’t be easier to get started. 

What you’ll need: 

  1. Full name 
  2. Date of birth  
  3. Postcode 
  4. National Insurance number 
  5. Customer number (you’ll find this on any email or letter from us) 
  6. Personal email address 
  7. Mobile number 

Using your mobile number helps us confirm it’s really you. If you don’t have a mobile number, you can still manage your account, but you’ll need to call us using your landline phone instead.

How to register

Follow these steps: 

  1. Go to the account set up page. 
  2. Enter your personal email address to receive a verification code. (Check your junk folder in case it ends up there.)  
  3. Verify the code, then add your personal details and create a secure password. 
  4. Add your mobile number so we can send a second verification code.  
  5. Once verified, you can log in and start managing your pension online.

Log in to your account 

Log in to your account in three simple steps.  

  • Go to the login page.  
  • Enter your email address and password. 
  • Enter the verification code we’ll send by text message.  

 Been a while since you last logged in? To keep your account secure, we may ask you to add your memorable word.  

What you can do from your account

Log in online or within our app to:  

  • Check your pension balance 
  • View your annual statement 
  • Transfer your other pensions
  • Choose your beneficiaries 
  • Update your contact details 
  • Review how your pension is invested.
